Allison Moore Knihy

The shocking true story of Allison Moore, a cop in Hawaii, reveals her descent into meth addiction, deception, and a harrowing journey through prison, prostitution, and torture before seeking redemption. Initially believing she could control her drug use, Allison quickly spirals into addiction, unable to face her reality. As a promising young officer, she was a star recruit at the Maui Police Department, respected and admired. However, a tumultuous romance with a fellow officer led her to seek escape through drugs. Using her authority, she concealed her addiction, fabricating a story about having ovarian cancer to justify her absences while actually securing meth from a violent Seattle dealer. Her dependence deepened, leading to a nightmarish situation where she became a prisoner, enduring severe physical and sexual abuse under constant surveillance. This gripping account, narrated in a deeply sympathetic voice, details Allison’s horrific experiences and the complex interplay of addiction and betrayal that cost her everything—her career, her colleagues, and the paradise she once called home.
