Dr. Donald DeMarco je emeritním profesorem filosofie na St. Jerome’s University ve Waterloo v Ontariu. Vystudoval filosofii a teologii. Jeho disertačními pracemi jsou "The Basic Concept in Hegel's Dialectical Method" a "The Nature of the Relationship between the Mathematical and the Beautiful in Music". Napsal 21 knih. Je ženatý a s manželkou Mary Arendt DeMarcovou má pět dětí.
