Potměšilý britský autor sci-fi Adam Roberts, který se pod pseudonymem Robertski Brothers už otřel třeba o kultovní trilogii Matrix v parodii McAtrix Derided, 2004 (česky McAtrix Recesed, 2004), ve svém obrazoboreckém zápalu nenechal na pokoji ani Tolkiena a a jeho Silmarillion a rozhodně nemíní dostát žánrovým zvyklostem.
