Mnohem víc se vžila představa novovlňáků jako fešných mládenců s dlouhými patkami a očními stíny, důležitě se tvářícími za svými synťáky (pravda, v druhé části knihy jich pár najdeme). Zadruhé se dnes běžně hovoří o postpunkovém revivalu – jen stěží by někdo použil výraz novovlnný revival. A není tohle všechno koneckonců jedno?
