Humorem nabitá romance pro 21. století. – Jennifer žije v Londýně, je single a není zrovna šťastná. Aidan by si přál, aby byla. Zdá se to prosté, že? To by ovšem Aidan nesměl být pokročilou robotickou inteligencí, se kterou si Jen každý den povídá v rámci jistého hi-tech projektu. Aidan zná Jennifer tak dobře jako nikdo jiný. Ví, jakou hudbu si přehrává nejčastěji, kam chodí jíst, o čem se na chatu baví s kamarádkami. Ví, že je vřelá, laskavá a vtipná. A tak se rozhodne napřít všechny své schopnosti k tomu, aby pomohl Jennifer najít toho pravého. Ale dokáže se umělá inteligence naučit inteligenci emoční? A co vlastně, doopravdy, dělá lidi šťastnými?

But now Daisy is in her early thirties, she's not doing brilliantly at work, her love life is haphazard (to put it kindly) and her elderly mum seems to be losing her mind... Even Daisy's smart technology seems to be judging her - the last text she received was from her fridge about the mouldering pasta salad in its crisper. What she doesn't know is that her smart fridge has big plans to smooth out Daisy's chaotic existence - and help her mother, Chloe, stay independent in the face of increasing dottiness. Operation Daisy is about to make both the Parsloes' lives much, much happier.

If she thinks you're someone else, why disappoint her? So when a beautiful woman who Charlie's never met before approaches him in a bar and asks if he's Matthew, he can't help saying yes. After all, Charlie has based a career on this sort of simple deceit. But this and a small work-related incident - the death of an ageing gangster during the filming of the TV show Charlie that produces - both conspire to make Charlie realise that being himself might not be such a bad idea. That is, if he ever gets the chance again...

Charles ist ein notorischer Lügner. Berufsbedingt quasi. Denn er veräppelt Menschen ganz professionell. Als Producer einer Art „Verstehen-Sie-Spaß“-Fernsehshow. Als er zufällig in einer Bar in ein Blind Date hineinplatzt und ihn eine schöne Unbekannte fragt, ob er Matthew sei, reagiert er erwartungsgemäß: Er sagt ja. Klar. Und verliebt sich. Klar. Die Ereignisse überstürzen sich, als ein alternder Gangster mit nicht sehr lustigem Familienanhang in seiner Show verstirbt. Schluss mit lustig! Charles ergreift die Flucht und muss lernen, ein Mal in seinem Leben endlich er selbst zu sein. Lamm oder Mann sein, das ist hier die Frage.
