Kritika čistého rozumu (1781) je základním spisem moderní filosofie. Kant v ní zkoumá možnosti poznání v matematice, přírodních vědách a metafyzice jakožto disciplínách, jejichž věty se neopírají o zkušenost. Na základě své teorie, v níž vymezuje podmínky možnosti poznání vůbec, pak dospívá k tvrzení, že metafyzika na rozdíl od matematiky a přírodních věd překračuje zkušenost neoprávněně, a udává podmínky, za nichž jedině může být smysluplná. Svazek je upraveným vydáním českého překladu spisu z roku 2001. Obsahuje kompletní text druhého vydání z r. 1787, včetně všech pasáží z prvního vydání z r. 1781, které Kant do druhého vydání nepřevzal. Do svazku jsou rovněž zařazeny Kantovy rukopisné exempláře. Nové vydání připravili Milan Sobotka a Jan Kuneš.
