While working, I thought, “What a lovely idea to write a book for young children to enjoy!” So the idea came to me. This is inspired by my lovely cats and three kittens, whose antics have always amused me. So I wanted to share with you and the little ones these moments that could only be captured on camera as it happened.

Their adventures raise questions about resilience and friendship, testing their bonds as they face nature's unpredictability.
In November 2017, the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation convened a conference in the halls of the Library of Congress as part of the Victims of Communism Centennial Commemoration. This volume contains the proceedings of that conference, as well as a window into the rich intellectual exchange occasioned by this meeting of minds.
