Zakázané dějiny lidstva se zabývá dávnou historií způsobem, jaký dosud žádná kniha nepodala: vysvětluje a ilustruje změny v DNA, k nimž došlo v průběhu tisíciletí, a ukazuje, jak se lidstvo vyvinulo do dnešní podoby. Součástí expedice je také Američan z Pentagonu s přenosným počítačem, který zobrazuje složité hologramy a je napojen na Hilbertův prostor. Starověká archeologie se tak setkává s vědou budoucnosti v neuvěřitelném dobrodružství, které odhaluje tajemství Egypta způsobem dosud nemyslitelným.

V roce 2003 byla v rumunském pohoří Bucegi objevena starověká komora, která se stala státním tajemstvím nejvyššího stupně pro Rumunsko a jeho partnera, Spojené státy.
