Nick Park Knihy

A superbly animated comic adventure that appeals to all ages.

It's the night before Gromit's birthday, and Wallace is in the shed planning a surprise: a party with lots of balloons and home-brewed cheese. It's a surprise, alright, when Wallace goes overboard with the helium, and the shed disappears into orbit where zero gravity makes the Home Brew Cheese Kit go into hyperdrive. Soon, Mr. Patel's greenhouse suffers a close encounter of the direct-hit kind and, with West Wallaby Street facing its very own "Edamgeddon," Wallace assembles a crack team to journey into the unknown. Thus, man and dog blast off into space, and with First Knitting Officer Wendolene and Bill "Cheesy" Cheeseman also aboard, Crackers in Space may be Wallace & Gromit's cheesiest mission yet.

When Wallace the inventor meets Wendolene in her wool shop, he falls in love with her at once. But why does her dog, Preston, hate Wallace's dog, Gromit? Then, after Wallace's new sheep-shaving and pullover-making machine falls into the wrong hands, things start to go very wrong. Can Gromit save Wallace from the danger of a 'close shave'?

It's Gromit the dog's birthday, and his friend Wallace gives him an unusual present - a pair of techno-trousers. At first Wallace uses the trousers to take Gromit for walks, but when the penguin comes to stay, he uses them one night for something different - very different. This strange story won the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film in 1990.

The Teacher's Book provides specific teaching notes for each episode.

Nick Park first created Wallace and Gromit in his student sketchbook at art college, and developed them in Plasticine for his film school graduate project, "A Grand Day Out". "The Art of Wallace and Gromit" revisits these early sketches and follows the evolution of Wallace and Gromit and their many friends and foes, not to mention their countless cracking contraptions.

Witty, whimsical, thought-provoking and meant seriously despite their light-hearted tone, here are 50 poems highlighting the threat humankind poses to the future of the planet.
