Schon das Zitat im Titel Honey I rearranged the collection, ursprünglich der Name einer Werkgruppe des amerikanischen Künstlers Allen Ruppersberg, zeigt die collagenhafte Arbeitsweise die Peter Barons Gedichten zugrunde liegt. Ausgehend von überwiegend zeitgenössischen Haltungen bildender Künstler von Martina Abramovic bis David Zink Yi aber auch fiktiven Künstlerbezügen aus der Literatur entstanden lyrische Texte im Spannungsfeld von Recherche und freier Assoziation. Die Textcollagen versteht der Autor auch weiterhin als bildnerische Arbeiten, als eine Form des lyrischen reenactments. Insofern ist der Buchentwurf in 20 lyrische Räume unterteilt, deren Titel sich auf reale Ausstellungen der letzten 20 Jahre beziehen. Die „Ausstellung“ kann durch ein imaginäres Foyer „betreten“ werden, das den Besucher mit einem Essay von Friedmann Harzer sowohl empfängt als auch verabschiedet.
