Norman Oliver Brown byl americký klasicista, známý svým překladem a komentáři k dílům Hésioda. Byl studentem Carla Schorskeho a Isaiaha Berlina a vyučoval klasickou filologii na Wesleyan University, University of Rochester a UC-Santa Cruz.
