This work is an English translation of a book of mine which was published in July 1978 by the Nihon Keizai Shimbun under the title Watashi no Rirekisho (My Personal History). It consists of two parts. The first is a brief sketch tracing in chronological order the events of my rather ordinary life. The second contains some of my random thoughts, jotted down as the occasion arose. " Moments From My Life, is by Masayoshi Ohira, former Prime Minister of Japan.
