Originálním způsobem přepsaný román století, o němž se právem soudilo, že jej nelze adaptovat. V žádném případě nemá v úmyslu nahrazovat předlohu, umožňuje ale čtenářům, aby si jej pro sebe nově objevili. Některé knihy by měl člověk prostě přečíst. Ví to, a přece ho odrazují. Už jen jejich tloušťka ho zbavuje odvahy. Muž bez vlastností Roberta Musila je takový románový kolos. Kdo si ale na tuhle knihu přece jen jednou troufne, brzy s překvapením zjistí, jak obohacujícím je zážitkem a co všechno dokáže objasnit.
