Jak wiadomo istotnym elementem japońskiej edukacji jest bycie członkiem szkolnego klubu. Zwykle funkcjonuje ich tak wiele, że każdy powinien bez problemu znaleźć coś dla siebie. Co natomiast, jeśli nie mamy bliżej określonych zainteresowań, a natura poskąpiła nam talentów? W takiej właśnie sytuacji znalazła się Yui Hirasawa. Ostatecznie jej uwagę przykuł pewien mały podupadający klub muzyczny. W zasadzie trudno powiedzieć czemu, zważywszy na to, że dziewczyna na żadnym instrumencie grać nie potrafi. Gdy jednak ten mały mankament wychodzi na jaw, pozostałe członkinie, mocno zdesperowane faktem, że bez Yui liczba osób w klubie nie będzie wystarczająca, decydują się nauczyć ją grania na gitarze.
