Questa nuova edizione della Biologia dei Microrganismi di Brock, basata sulla undicesima edizione americana, dedica ancora più spazio ai concetti fondamentali di base, inserendoli nel quadro di una scienza moderna e in continua evoluzione quale è la Microbiologia.
