Georges Pichard began his career in advertising illustration before dedicating himself to teaching drawing. He contributed to humor and satirical publications from the mid-1940s. His distinctive compositional style and mastery of volume made him adept at erotic comics, evident in works such as Paulette and Caroline Choiera. Pichard also adapted Homer's Odyssey, solidifying his reputation as a significant comic artist.
