Bernhard Heisig, 1925 in Breslau geboren, eine der großen Ausnahmeerscheinungen der deutschen Kunst nach 1945, wird hier in 100 ausgewählten Bildern in einem von Rüdiger Küttner herausgegebenen Band vorgestellt. Retrospektiv und zugleich auf die neuesten Bilder bezogen bündelt der Band Heisigs Malerei bis 2010 in einer faszinierenden Zusammenschau. Die Bilder werden von Künstlern, Kennern, Sammlern und Liebhabern kommentiert, darunter von Eduard Beaucamp, Hartwig Ebersbach, Hubertus Giebe, Eckhart Gillen, Herwig Guratzsch, Christoph Hein, Johannes Heisig, Petra Maisak, Harald Metzkes, Hans-Jürgen Papies, Dieter Ronte und Eberhard Roters.
