Odborníci se vášnivě dohadují a hlavní hrdina, vědec-vynálezce, svým syntetickým myšlením a schopností dívat se na věci netradičně začíná ostatní navádět správným směrem a chystá se do vesmíru...

Zde žili Ganymeďané (Obři) poklidným životem již v dobách, kdy Země ještě nebyla osídlena lidmi. Na Minervě se však zhoršily životní podmínky a Obři se odstěhovali do vzdálenějšího vesmíru na planety u Hvězdy Obrů.
