Spider bojuje se světem, který se zbláznil Zuřivý reportér Spider Jerusalem přišel o práci, o bankovní účet i o apartmán. Což ho staví do ideální pozice pro to, aby začal budovat plán na svržení samotného prezidenta Spojených států. V novém díle série Transmetropolitan od komiksové superstar Warrena Ellise přituhuje. Starý dobrý sjetý novinář s dvoubarevnými brýlemi na nose má ale v rukávu pár nabroušených es.

Vždycky existuje druhá cesta. Tony Stark vylepšil své tělo pomocí kovu... a teď stojí proti člověku, který si vylepšil přímo tělo. Čeká nás boj kovu proti masu. V komiksu Extremis se mixují klasické ellisovské úvahy (většinou o drogách, politice a zbraních) s opravdu extrémními bitkami (v precizní malbě Adi Granova).

V druhém příběhu se James Bond ocitá v pasti ve městě Los Angeles, kde spolu s další agentkou MI6 musí čelit útoku jedné zpravodajské služby (a dost možná i více než jedné), která by je ráda viděla v márnici s visačkou na palci. Situace se nezlepší ani s jejich návratem do Británie. Mrtvých přibývá a záhadní fantomové vystupují z mlžného oparu vysoké politiky...

Superhrdinové, kteří se nebojí menšího zla! Authority jsou hrdinové pouze v nejužším významu slova. Nejsou dokonalí, nejsou neomylní a mají víc slabostí, než by správní superhrdinové měli mít.
