This is the story of Betty Schimmel and the two loves of her life. The first is her childhood sweetheart from Hungary, Richie. During the Nazi occupation they would meet after curfew and talk of a love that would outlive the privation they endured in the ghetto. But the lovers were separated when Betty and her family were forced on a death march to the notorious concentration camp at Mauthausen.
