A topic-based conversation book designed for older adolescent and young adult learners at A2-B2 levels of the Common European Framework of Reference (ie the lower intermediate to upper intermediate levels). Its purpose is to help students improve and gain confidence in speaking English.The book is organized into eight areas: About Myself, The World Around Me, Leisure, Relationships, Work Life, Health Matters, Social Issues and Going On..., each of which comprises a selection of topic chapters.Each chapter begins with guided conversation which gradually encourages students to move from model replies to their own formulations. Second part contains a reading text (also recorded as an audio). Students read the text and answer questions that follow. The last part of each chapter provides open-ended questions on another aspect of the given topic. These ask the students to think about the issues, formulate their opinions and share experiences.
