Mám pocit, že tato kniha má syndrom druhý knihy. Připravuje se na něco většího, co se bude dít v dalších knihách a tak je holt slabší (teda doufám) Knihu jsme upřímně četla v angličtině, tak nevím, zda důvod, proč některé pasáže pro mě byli nesrozumitelné, protože je tam jazyková propast nebo prostě nebyli úplně dvakrát dobře napsané. "Hádky" mezi Xadenem a Violet byly dle mého občas pěkně repetetivní, což na jednu stranu se může brát jako chyba postav (a tedy něco normálního) nebo to je chyba autora. Jak už tady několik lidí zmiňovalo, tak to chtělo lehce okrouhnout na některých místech. Takových cca 50 -70 stran prostě tam bylo zbytečných a akorát se kvůli tomu vlekla. Původně jsme chtěla dát menší hodnocení, ale nakonec kvůli bombosnímu konci musím dát vyšší. Posledních 100 stran mě opravdu chytlo. I začátek a konec první části byl dobrý. Jenom občas tam bylo zbytečně moc výplně. Možná to byla snaha o world building nebo nechání příběhu vydýchat ale korektor měl trošku zasáhnout a fakt to zkrátit.
Napínavá, fascinující svět draků a lidí, nebudete ji chtít odložit.
