The story follows Luna and her sister Aurora as they move into a seemingly magical tower, reminiscent of a fairy tale. However, the reality is far from enchanting; the tower is in disrepair, their father is unemployed, and a mysterious upper room remains off-limits. While Luna navigates her new school and makes a friend, Aurora struggles with her dislike for classmates, preferring her imaginary friend Tansy. As Aurora's belief in Tansy deepens, Luna must confront the possibility of a curse on the tower and find a way to break it.
