The Dead Friend Project

Více o knize

Things haven't been going well for Beth. Her husband has left her for a friend, school mums judge her for swearing and not losing the baby weight, and now she's in A&E after her son’s accident on the first day of school. Life has been tough since her best friend Charlotte died, a vibrant presence at school pick-ups and the only one who could make PTA meetings interesting. After Charlotte is killed in a hit-and-run while jogging, Beth is left to navigate her increasingly challenging life alone. However, a shocking discovery changes everything: Charlotte had left her toddler home alone during that fatal run. This revelation leads Beth to question whether Charlotte's death was truly an accident. Armed with determination and a glass of wine, she sets out to uncover the truth, starting with the seemingly perfect circle of school mums, who may not be as flawless as they appear. As Beth delves deeper, she becomes more convinced that one of them is hiding something. But first, she must manage her kids before embarking on this darkly humorous and twisty journey to find answers.
