Více o knize
Exploring the unique environment of Turkey's fortunetelling cafés, Zeynep K. Korkman highlights how secular Muslim women and LGBTIQ individuals seek refuge from societal pressures. These cafés serve as spaces for intimate connection and emotional exchange, allowing participants to navigate their vulnerabilities and aspirations amidst political and gendered challenges. By centering "feeling" in her analysis, Korkman presents a feminist perspective on resilience and community-building among marginalized groups, revealing their strategies for envisioning alternative futures.
