Inspired by his granddaughter, the author transitioned from writing in three-by-five notebooks to publishing a collection of his work. After his granddaughter encouraged him to compile and publish these writings for their family, he sought a publisher willing to take a chance on his story. This journey reflects a heartfelt connection across generations and the desire to share personal narratives with loved ones.
