The Earl's Captive

Set in September 1821, the story follows Lucy, who rebels against her father's choice of a grim vicar for her husband. In a daring move, she steals the vicar's prized stallion to escape across the moors. However, her adventure takes a turn when she is captured by notorious horse thieves, led by a charming but unscrupulous leader.
