Eye of Cat

Set in a future Earth, the story follows William Blackhorse Singer, the last Navajo, as he embarks on a mission to protect an alien diplomat from a dangerous adversary. Partnering with a shape-shifting alien named "Cat," Singer navigates this perilous task, but Cat has his own agenda: he seeks revenge against his captor, turning the tables on Singer in a thrilling chase.
