The story follows a man raised in Eastern European brothels, who arrives in New York City seeking adventure and a sense of belonging after September 11th. However, his journey takes unexpected turns as he faces a series of challenges that lead him through America's darker sides, from New York to Boston and finally to a Walmart near Atlanta. Throughout his night shifts, he grapples with themes of damnation and salvation, ultimately discovering the true cost of his quest for identity and home.
