Více o knize
Focusing on the Arab revolt against the Turks, this volume details the critical period from May 1918 to the armistice. It highlights the strategic contributions of Col. T. E. Lawrence, whose guerrilla tactics and sabotage efforts diverted Turkish forces, aiding the Egyptian Expeditionary Force (EEF). The narrative also covers the challenges faced by General Allenby, including the need to send British troops to France amid the German spring offensives and the subsequent reorganization of the EEF with Indian battalions stepping in.
