My Life with George

When both her husband and father died of cancer within a fortnight of each other, Summers fell into the depths of depression. Life for Judith and her eight-year-old son looked bleak. Yet it was at this point that she would fall in love again - with a dog. This is her account of how George, a Cavalier King Charles spaniel, brought joie de vivre back into her life but also how his erratic behaviour led to some testing experiences of their own.
