He shares his lifelong passion for the sea and ships, detailing how his quest for John Paul Jones's Revolutionary War ship, the Bonhomme Richard, led to the creation of the NUMA (National Underwater and Marine Agency) Foundation. He also includes Engine #51, the locomotive that fell from a bridge in 1878. The featured wrecks date back to 1840 and span the continental U.S., the Atlantic, and the North Sea.
