In Christian tradition, there was a belief that the world would end in the year 1000 AD. As this date approaches, monks from the Crater know that it is no mere tale. The end of the world is imminent, and it seems unavoidable. A mercenary inadvertently discovers the cause of this impending catastrophe when he ventures into a once-thriving world similar to Earth, now desolate and nearly uninhabited. However, he is not alone on the planet; there are other beings, extraordinary creatures that once ruled the Earth before their disappearance. The mercenary's new adventure immerses the reader fully in a sci-fi realm.
