Heroic Cities of Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel

I saw cities with no visible signs at first of their horrific past when I ran 8 km from Kyiv down the hot four-lane road to Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel on 18.7.24 Although buildings are now mostly repaired, holes in sheet metal fences after bullets, shrapnels are still there reminding what the locals had to face two years prior. This book collects many stories of their heroism. It felt as if really the atmospheric pressure was higher, air denser when I was walking Yablunska Street and through other places where crimes had happened. It left me with greater understanding, heart grew bigger.
