Více o knize

The EUROPEAN LIFELONG GUIDANCE POLICY NETWORK (ELGPN) supports EU Member States and eligible neighboring countries in enhancing cooperation on lifelong guidance in education and employment. Established in 2007, the Network aims to foster collaboration and system development at the member-country level, aligning with the EU 2020 strategies and Resolutions on Lifelong Guidance from 2004 and 2008. The European Commission has backed its initiatives through the Lifelong Learning Programme and Erasmus+. The focus on CAREER MANAGEMENT SKILLS (CMS) empowers individuals to navigate their education, training, and work throughout their lives. This tool is designed for policymakers seeking to create a national guidance policy centered on CMS, addressing existing gaps and future needs in lifelong guidance. It aims to assist policymakers by providing insights, best practices, and conclusions from ELGPN member countries. With 30 member countries, including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, and others, plus Switzerland as an observer, the Network encourages representation from both governmental and non-governmental sectors. As a Member-State-driven initiative, the ELGPN exemplifies an innovative approach to the Open Method of Coordination within the EU, significantly advancing national lifelong guidance policy development across Europe.
