Das James Bond Archiv - SPECTRE Edition

Více o knize

For fifty years, Bond, James Bond, has captivated audiences since Sean Connery first delivered those iconic words in 1962. This quintessentially British character, created by Ian Fleming, has appeared in 23 EON-produced films, portrayed by six actors over five decades. To commemorate this milestone, EON Productions granted editor Paul Duncan access to their extensive archives, allowing him to research over one million images and 100 filing cabinets of documentation. The result is a comprehensive account of the series, covering every Bond film from Dr. No (1962) to the anticipated Skyfall (2012), including the parodies Casino Royale (1967) and Never Say Never Again (1983). Featuring stunning imagery, the book includes an oral history from over 150 cast and crew members, sharing the behind-the-scenes stories of the film-making process. With previously unpublished photography, artwork, and production memos, it serves as a tribute to the enduring legacy of James Bond. This XL volume recounts the franchise's entire history through words and pictures, showcasing 1,100 images, including unseen stills, on-set photos, and alternative designs. It encompasses contributions from producers, directors, actors, and technicians who shaped the series. The first print run includes a special bonus: an original strip of film from Dr. No. Limited art editions are also available.
