   Váleční hrdinové před důchodem nejsou obvykle odvoláváni a posíláni do dalekých končin galaxie kvůli rutinnímu vyšetřování.    Plukovník Carl Butler se po misi Cappě setkává se smíšeným přijetím. Pro některé je válečným hrdinou. Pro druhou polovinu Galaxie je vyvrhelem. Byl donucen jít do výslužby a přesídlil na Talcu IV, kde nyní zastává funkci v korporátní bezpečnosti a chrání hi-teh knowhow - alespoň tak to má v popisu práce.
