Publikace se zabývá pracovními podmínkami osob se zdravotním postižením, které tvoří jednu z nejvíce ohrožených skupin na trhu práce. Podává ucelený přehled mezinárodních dokumentů a českých právních předpisů upravujících danou problematiku včetně změn právní úpravy vymezující osoby se zdravotním postižením, jež má nabýt účinnost 1. lednu 2010. Vychází z pojetí pracovních podmínek v tzv. širším smyslu, neboť pracovní podmínky mnohdy nelze oddělit od obecných životních podmínek.

Publikace s názvem Právní, náboženské a politické aspekty starověké římské rodiny je dílem kolektivu autorů, vyučujících na Právnické a Filozofické fakultě Masarykovy univerzity. Výsledkem této autorské spolupráce právních romanistů, historiků starověku a klasických filologů je tato monografie, která z různých pohledů popisuje starověkou římskou rodinu na základě právních a narativních pramenů. V úvodu práce je antická rodina zasazena do mytologických představ. Následuje část věnovaná náboženství a tradici v římské společnosti. Další kapitola je věnována postavení rodu, rodiny a jednotlivce z pohledu veřejného a soukromého práva. Navazující kapitola se věnuje tzv. serviovské ústavě a přežívání některých rodových zvyklostí. Jádro práce tvoří rozbor římské rodiny, postavení jejích členů jako osob sui a alieni iuris a tzv. přechodové rituály, které doprovázely důležité okamžiky v životě starověkého člověka (narození, dospělost, svatba, smrt a pohřeb). V posledním století republiky, v důsledku dlouhodobých občanských válek a proskripcí dochází v římské společnosti k náboženskému a mravnímu úpadku, o jehož nápravu se snaží Octavianus Augustus. Tomuto tématu je věnována kapitola popisující Augustovy reformy rodinného života. Předposlední kapitola se věnuje tzv. rodinnému trestnímu právu resp. oprávněním otce a manžela trestat svou manželku či děti za provinění (např. nevěra). Závěr práce se věnuje i úpravě postavení ženy v tzv. barbarském právu. Jako příklad bylo vybráno vizigótské právo. Tato závěrečná kapitola popisuje význam rodiny ve vizigótském státě a postavení ženy v rodině a ve veřejném životě.
