Elle s'appelle Eva, qui signifie vie, car sa mère souhaitait qu'elle en profite pleinement. Eva Luna est née d'un Indien des Fils de la Lune, après une rencontre dramatique. Enfant rebelle et fascinée, écoutant des feuilletons radiophoniques, elle possède le talent d'inventer des histoires incroyables, drôles et tragiques, ce qui lui permettra de s'élever au-dessus de la misère et de l'anonymat.
