Neben der Publikation ITIL® 4 Foundation Courseware wird empfohlen, auch ITIL® 4 - A Pocket Guide zu erwerben. Der Kurs dient als Einführung in ITIL 4 und vermittelt eine neue Perspektive auf das IT-Servicemanagement durch ein Service-Value-System (SVS).
