Odysseus (v angl. orig. Ulysses) je román irského spisovatele Jamese Joyce. Jedná se o parafrázi Homérova eposu Odysseia, na nějž v mnoha paralelách odkazuje. Z dalších děl citovaných v Joyceově románu lze uvést např. Shakespearovu tragédii Hamlet či Mozartovu operu Don Giovanni, časté jsou rovněž citace a parafráze bible, různých liturgických textů, ale i irských lidových popěvků. Mnozí odborníci i laici považují Odyssea za největší anglicky psané dílo 20. století. Joyce psal Odyssea sedm let, mezi roky 1914 a 1921. Poprvé bylo dílo vydáno roku 1922 v Paříži, neboť ve Velké Británii i ve Spojených státech amerických měla kniha problémy s cenzurou. Román pojednává o příhodách a trampotách mnoha obyvatel Dublinu během čtvrtka 16. června 1904 od osmi hodin ráno do brzkých ranních hodin následujícího dne.
