Mojžíšovo působení přesahuje minulost a je úzce spjato s každodenním životem národa. Lidová představivost propojuje současnost s minulostí prostřednictvím symboliky, což je v této knize hojně ilustrováno. Předkládáme množství symbolických výkladů, které se dotýkají konkrétních pravidel. Přesto by byl Mojžíšův příběh neúplný, kdybychom příliš přísně oddělovali legendu od symboliky. Tento díl se v uspořádání a prezentaci materiálu neliší od předchozích svazků.
