    Paul Kane se věnuje profesionálnímu psaní téměř patnáct let. Jeho žánrová žurnalistika se objevila v časopisech jako Fangoria, SFX a Rue Morgue a jeho non-fiction knihy jsou oceňovanými tituly The Hellraiser Films and Their Legacy a Voices in the Dark. Jeho oceněná povídková tvorba se objevila v časopisech a antologiích na obou stranách Atlantiku a byla také vysílána na BBC Radio 2. Jeho novela Signs of Life se dostala do užšího výběru British Fantasy Awards 2006 a jeho zombie povídka 'Dead Time' byla v roce 2008 adaptována do epizody televizní série Fear Itself. Kane je také autorem románů Of Darkness and Light, The Gemini Factor a bestsellerové trilogie Arrowhead, která je postapokalyptickým přepracováním mytologie Robina Hooda.
