Sherlock Holmes faces his greatest challenge when he encounters the Cenobites, the infamous servants of hell. In late 1895, Sherlock Holmes and his faithful companion, Dr. John Watson, are called to investigate a case of missing persons. At first glance, it seems like a mystery that Holmes would enjoy, as the person in question disappeared from a locked room, and it occupies him more than testing the limits of his mind and body. But this is just the beginning of an investigation that will lead them to contact a shadowy organization whispered about and known only as 'The Order of the Gash.' As more people disappear in a similar manner, the clues point to a sinister asylum in France and the underworld of London. However, it is a completely different underworld that Holmes will soon discover, as he comes face to face not only with those followers who fulfill the wishes of the Order on Earth but with those who serve in hell: the Cenobites...
