Více o knize
Exploring the nature of humanity's will, this work delves into the relationship between freedom, moral agency, and divine grace. Grounded in a Calvinist perspective, it argues for the total depravity of the will and emphasizes the necessity of God's grace for salvation. Drawing on biblical text, particularly Romans 9:16, the author, Jonathan Edwards, presents a theological inquiry into virtue, vice, and the implications for reward and punishment. Originally published in 1754, it remains a significant contribution to discussions on free will and morality.
