Více o knize
The narrative centers on Rania al-Baz, a pioneering Saudi TV news anchor whose life took a harrowing turn when her abusive husband brutally attacked her, leaving her in a coma. After enduring extensive surgeries to reconstruct her face, she bravely shared her story and shocking images, igniting a crucial conversation about domestic violence in Saudi Arabia. Her experience not only highlighted the struggles faced by women in her culture but also led to the first research on domestic violence in the country, marking a significant step towards raising awareness and promoting change.
