Zvládne upíry oděné v kůži a poradí si i se lstivým démonem. Ale sériový vrah, který si za oběti vybírá experty na nejnebezpečnější druh magie, je trochu moc i na ni. Boj s prastarým, nesmiřitelným zlem není žádná dětská hra – a tentokrát bude mít Rachel štěstí, když si zachrání aspoň svoji duši.
Cincinnati nežije žádná drsnější a více sexy čarodějka, než je Rachel Morganová — a žádná taky nemá více problémů. Rachel je totiž ochotná riskovat svůj milostný život i duši, aby dostala do chládku zločinná stvoření noci.
