Román jsem četla v originále a opravdu hodně mě bavil. Je to fantasy pro dospělé, kde se objevuje motiv "Ošklivé Káčátko" a " Kráska a zvíře". Příběh jede jako na klouzačce, má silnou hlavní hrdinku a mnoho zajímavých postav a ano, nic není, jak se zdá.

Hlavní hrdinka má issues ?a hlavní love interest je toxic af
Tohle je pro mě trošku bias - důvod, proč jsem se rozhodla tuhle sérii začít číst byla narůstající popularita romantasy v Americe. Nebo teda narůstající - z toho, co jsem chápala to byl výbuch. A já to chtěla trošku pochopit a ChatGPT mi právě Maas doporučil jako "královnu romantasy". Tzn. moje první romantasy, který jsem hltala po stovkách stránek za den. Nějak mě po dlouhé době uchvátilo, jak někdo píše prostě jednoduše a čtivě. Uronila jsem nejednu slzu a vzhledem k tomu, že jsem nikdy úplně nečetla romantiku, tak jsem na to nebyla zvyklá. Jak řikám - biased - ale dobře pro ně :))
