Mathematics in Industrial Problems

Focusing on the intersection of industry and mathematics, this volume presents challenges derived from real-world industrial problems. Based on presentations from the IMA Seminar on Industrial Problems, each self-contained chapter discusses specific issues posed by industrial scientists, offering references to relevant mathematical literature and listing open problems.
