The findings of this study reveal how in an attempt to better the wellbeing of Muslim communities in Ghana, the Muslim resurgence was inevitable. In the course of this resurgence, doctrinal differences between various groups produced protracted intra-Muslim conflicts in Ghana from 1950 - 2000.
